Fun in Manhattan
So this weekend we didn't do much. We took the a drive downtown to 23rd and 5th so I could shop at one of my favorite Italian markets Eataly. Across from Eataly is a really nice park so we took the kids for a bit. Then we drove up to 59th and 5th to the Apple Store, another favorite of mine :). We compared my iPad 2 to The New iPad and I have to say the camera does take better pics and the 4G LTE is so much faster but what I liked the best was the retina display. WOW gamer play is amazing on this device. Next week is Easter Weekend so I best to get to planning!

Spring is here!
Yesterday was the first day of Spring and it felt like it. I was out of the house all morning at an Appointment and afterward went to the beauty salon to get my hair done. When I got home my hair was frizzy from the heat so it felt more like summer. After school I took the kids to the playground. I meet this really nice woman that just moved to the neighborhood and we talked for like 2 hours. We are meeting up again today. Hopefully it doesn't rain in the Bronx today. I love this time of the year because it gives us opportunities to go out and have fun and enjoy new places to visit. My kids love the Pools and beaches and the water parks. We enjoy packing up the car and just going to fun places. Family time is very important because we spend our time working going to school and fiddling around with our electronics that we don't have time to come together and enjoy each others companies. I'm so ready for this summer, so bring it on!

Our day at Kids Fun House
Sunday's are our day for going out with the kids for family time. This Sunday we took them to Kids Fun House in Queens. We actually have never been there before but we like to take our chances just to explore new things. The kids love an adventure! So I have to say that the place didn't meet my expectations but the kids did have fun which is what we wanted. It was small and didn't have a lot of games. I didn't get a chance to look at the private party area because it was located in the back of the place and there was a party taking place. At first it wasn't to crowded but as the guest to the party arrived it got a little to overwhelming. My Daughter Jaylinn at first didn't want to go down the big slide because she was afraid but I nagged and nagged until she agreed. She loved it and continued to slide. My son Mikey is different he likes to take risk without thinking but I didn't let him because he is too little I believe for the big slide. He played mostly in the toddler section which looked much like a daycare facility, which was fine by me. The food was not so good I give it a 5 out of 10. Afterwards we went to the Queens Manhattan Mall. We shopped for toys, we ate and just walked around. We also grabbed something to eat in the food court. Hopefully I can find something a little more fun for us to visit next Sunday.

My fist post!
This will be my first official post on this blog. I'll be blogging about my personal life, family and about living in the Bronx. I have lived in the Bronx all of my life and so I thought why not blog about my experience here. Hope that you guys enjoy my random post here.
